       On October 13, Tianjin Science and Technology Commission held a demonstration meeting with the Basic Research Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology on the implementation of the National Key Laboratory of Food Nutrition and Safety.        The expert group of the demonstration was chaired by the academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, director of the State Key Laboratory of Microbial Metabolism, and Professor Deng Zixin from Shanghai Jiaotong University; deputy head of researcher Han Buxing, director of the Colloid Interface and Thermodynamics Laboratory of the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences . The expert group conducted an on-site inspection of the laboratories and exhibition rooms of the national key laboratories of the State Key Laboratory of Food Nutrition and Safety jointly established by the provincial and ministerial departments and consulted relevant data on scientific research houses, equipment, research directions, and teams. The in-depth understanding of the composition, scientific research achievements, personnel training, achievement transformation, etc., and hearing the report on the implementation of the laboratory construction and operation program.

      After full questioning and discussion, the expert group believes that the laboratory has outstanding features, a clear construction goal, and a reasonable and feasible plan. It has the conditions for the provincial key ministries to build a national key laboratory, and it conforms to the requirements for the construction of national key laboratories. Through the demonstration, it is recommended that the construction be approved as soon as possible. At the same time, there are targeted and instructive suggestions for the further development of the laboratory.
